What I'm looking for

I seek a public-health role where I can lead surveillance, outbreak response and AMR programs, collaborate across sectors, and apply epidemiologic research to strengthen health systems.

I am an MD in Community and Family Medicine from AIIMS Rishikesh and trained in Epidemic Intelligence Service at NCDC in collaboration with CDC Atlanta, with hands-on experience in surveillance system evaluation, outbreak investigation, and epidemiological studies.

I have served as a District Surveillance Officer and COVID-19 district nodal officer, managed pandemic response activities, and participated in launching vaccination campaigns at district level.

Currently I work as the State Nodal Officer for AMR in Uttarakhand while also practising as a family physician at District Hospital Baurari, Tehri, contributing to development of a state action plan and multi-sector stakeholder coordination for antimicrobial resistance containment.

I have three years teaching experience during residency, multiple published research articles on undernutrition and surveillance, and practical skills in MS Office, SPSS and Epi Info; I bring dedication, leadership, and a commitment to strengthening public health systems.
