At Evernorth Health Services, part of The Cigna Group, I modernized IBOR’s legacy IBM MQ event flow into a Kafka-based event-driven architecture. I built a standalone Spring Boot Outbox Publisher to reliably stream transactional ODS events to Kafka.

I engineered fault-tolerant delivery through concurrency-safe Outbox processing, idempotency, exponential-backoff retries, dead-letter handling, and event replay. I also strengthened resilient processing with distributed tracing, structured logging, real-time metrics, alerting, OpenShift, and GitHub Actions CI/CD.

During my Evernorth internship, I led the Angular-to-React and TypeScript migration for the Direct Deposit micro-frontend in myCigna, resolved 25+ production Jira defects, and reduced page-load latency by 23% for 2M+ members. I also cut end-to-end test flakiness by 60% by migrating Cypress suites to Playwright and automating API validation.

I build beyond work through projects such as EcoRoute, where I reduced delivery-route distance by 28% and external API calls by 85%, and FinTrack, a secure finance platform with Spring Boot, React, MySQL, REST APIs, and JWT authentication. I’ve also published IEEE research on parking-slot detection using YOLOv8 and OpenCV.
