What I'm looking for

I'm seeking opportunities to advance global health equity through research coordination, evidence-based policy, community engagement, health systems improvement, and collaborative donor-funded programs.

I'm coordinating community-based Parkinson's disease research with Washington State University, supporting outreach, focus groups, participant recruitment, Somali-English translation, electronic research records, and data quality.

Previously, I led EU-IGAD cross-border COVID-19 research operations across Somali regional corridors, managing planning, budgets, monitoring and evaluation reporting, donor compliance, and policy engagement. At Jigjiga University and APHRC, I conducted grant-compliance audits and supported Platinum Tier GFGP certification readiness.

My work combines clinical practice, public health research, medical education leadership, and health-data analysis. As Dean of the School of Medicine and a General Practitioner, I led academic and clinical operations while providing evidence-based patient care.
