Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Windows Infrastructure Manager to lead our dynamic team responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our Windows-based systems and infrastructure. In this role, you will not only oversee the technical aspects of our Windows environment but also drive strategic initiatives to enhance system performance, security, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust Windows infrastructure solutions that align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Lead a team of engineers to ensure the timely deployment and maintenance of Windows servers, Active Directory, and Group Policy configurations.
- Manage capacity planning and ensure optimal performance of Windows-based applications and services.
- Develop and implement security policies and best practices to protect sensitive data and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex issues and provide advanced support for Windows environments.
- Conduct regular performance assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience managing Windows infrastructure, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level infrastructure solutions.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and system integration.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and resolution.
Preferred:
- Experience with cloud-based technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS) and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, or similar.
- Relevant certifications such as MCSE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep expertise in Windows Server and Active Directory management.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions specific to Windows environments.
- Proficient in monitoring tools and performance management solutions.
