Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assistant Pre-K Special Education Teacher to join the team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities

- Support the lead teacher in daily classroom activities, providing tailored instruction and support to students based on their unique learning needs.
- Monitor student progress and behavior, documenting observations and reporting to lead teachers and parents as necessary.
- Collaborate with special education staff, therapists, and other professionals to create a cohesive learning environment.
- Engage students in a variety of learning activities, using creative and adaptive teaching methods to meet diverse needs.
- Maintain a safe and positive classroom environment, promoting respect, inclusion, and collaboration among students.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Associate's degree in early childhood education, special education, or a related field.
- Experience working with young children, particularly those with special needs, in a classroom or childcare setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in special education or a related field.
- Familiarity with early childhood development and special education laws and regulations.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in using educational technology and adaptive learning tools to enhance student engagement.
- Basic understanding of data tracking systems for monitoring student progress.
