Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary VP of Maintenance to lead our maintenance organization at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities

- Oversee the development and execution of preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset life
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of maintenance operations
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure maintenance practices support production requirements and enhance system reliability
- Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost control
- Drive the adoption of new technologies and tools to improve maintenance workflows and data management
- Mentor and develop maintenance staff, promoting skill enhancement and career growth opportunities
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in maintenance leadership roles, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong understanding of maintenance management systems and methodologies, including Lean and Six Sigma principles
- Proven track record of successfully implementing maintenance strategies that drive operational efficiency
- Exceptional project management skills and experience overseeing complex maintenance projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives in maintenance operations
- Certification in maintenance management (e.g., CMRP, CRL) is a plus
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- In-depth knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and data analytics tools
- Experience with asset management strategies and technologies
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to maintenance operations
