Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to join our dynamic facilities management team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of maintenance schedules, preventive maintenance programs, and emergency repairs to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance of all equipment and facilities.

- Support the development and enforcement of safety protocols and compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring the health and safety of all employees and visitors.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate maintenance activities, manage service contracts, and oversee vendor performance.
- Assist in the preparation and management of the maintenance budget, tracking expenditures, and ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Associate’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in facility maintenance or management, with a demonstrated ability to lead maintenance operations.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in managing maintenance teams and projects in a hybrid work environment.
- Certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facility Management Professional (FMP) are a plus.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Solid understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental compliance.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive decision-making and operational efficiencies.
