Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Ferry Engineer to lead our engineering initiatives in the maritime transportation sector. This role is crucial in enhancing our operational efficiency, ensuring safety compliance, and advancing sustainable practices within our fleet of ferries.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the engineering operations for all ferry vessels, ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in marine engineering, with a focus on ferry operations and management.
- Proven track record of successful project management in a maritime context, including budget management and resource allocation.
- Strong understanding of marine safety regulations and environmental compliance standards.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certifications.
- Experience with hybrid or electric propulsion systems in marine applications.
- Familiarity with integrated vessel management systems and data analytics.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in marine propulsion systems, electrical systems, and vessel design.
- Proficiency in software tools for engineering design and analysis (e.g., AutoCAD, Rhino).
