Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Employee Relations Specialist to join our HR team, who will play a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. You will be responsible for addressing employee concerns, facilitating conflict resolution, and advising management on best practices to enhance employee engagement and retention.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee grievances, ensuring a fair, impartial, and timely resolution process
- Provide guidance to management on employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and workplace accommodations
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives aimed at enhancing workplace satisfaction and productivity
- Collaborate with HR partners to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures across the organization
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulations to mitigate risk and ensure compliance
- Create training materials and conduct workshops to educate employees and management on employee relations practices and conflict resolution strategies
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in employee relations or a similar HR role
- Strong understanding of labor laws and compliance standards
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
Preferred:
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
- Experience with HRIS and employee engagement software
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and reporting tools
- Knowledge of conflict resolution and mediation techniques

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
