Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Employee Relations Specialist to join our dynamic HR team. In this role, you will support the development and implementation of employee relations programs and initiatives, ensuring a positive work environment while promoting company culture and values.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and workplace investigations
- Support the development and delivery of employee engagement initiatives and programs
- Conduct employee surveys and compile feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Maintain HR documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws
- Collaborate with HR team members to provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations issues
- Participate in training sessions aimed at enhancing employee relations skills across the organization
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 1+ years of experience in HR or employee relations, preferably in a corporate environment
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
Preferred:
- Experience with HRIS systems and employee engagement tools
- Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with HRIS and data management tools
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports to inform decision-making
