Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Compensation Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping our compensation strategies by analyzing market trends, conducting benchmarking studies, and ensuring our pay structures are equitable and competitive. You will collaborate with HR and leadership teams to implement compensation policies that align with our organizational goals and promote employee satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough market analysis and benchmarking to develop competitive compensation structures that align with industry standards.
- Analyze internal equity and external competitiveness to make informed recommendations regarding salary adjustments, bonuses, and other compensation elements.
- Support compensation planning processes, including annual salary reviews, incentive programs, and total rewards strategy development.
- Prepare compensation reports and presentations for stakeholders, effectively communicating insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with HR partners to ensure compliance with compensation policies and legal requirements.
- Assist in the evaluation and analysis of job descriptions to ensure proper classification and alignment with compensation practices.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in compensation analysis or related HR functions.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods.
- Familiarity with compensation and benefits practices, including job evaluation methodologies.
- Proficient in Excel and HRIS systems, with a solid understanding of data management and reporting.
Preferred:
- Certification in compensation (e.g., CCP, GRP) or related fields.
- Experience with compensation management software and reporting tools.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or similar programming languages.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and compensation management software.
- Understanding of reporting tools and visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
Soft Skills and Cultural Fit
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in analysis and reporting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
