Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior Compensation Analyst to join our growing HR team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. In this role, you will support the compensation function by analyzing compensation data, conducting market research, and assisting in the development of compensation programs that attract and retain top talent.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration of compensation programs, including salary benchmarking and job evaluations
- Conduct market analyses and benchmarking studies to ensure competitive compensation practices
- Support the preparation of compensation reports and presentations for HR leadership
- Collaborate with HR partners to provide compensation-related guidance and support
- Maintain and update compensation data in HR information systems
- Participate in special projects related to compensation analysis and reporting
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in HR analytics, compensation analysis, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience with HRIS systems and compensation management software
- Knowledge of compensation trends and best practices
- Familiarity with statistical analysis tools
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, ADP)
- Familiarity with SQL or other data querying languages is a plus
