Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Supervisor to lead our dynamic team in providing exceptional care and education to children. In this role, you will oversee daily operations and ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that fosters children's growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of child care staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and the community to promote engagement and collaboration.
- Conduct regular assessments and observations of children's progress, communicating findings to parents and adjusting programs as necessary.
- Manage daily schedules, staff assignments, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment by enforcing health and safety standards and maintaining records of incidents and concerns.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a child care setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of child development theories and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Experience working with diverse populations and children with special needs.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Familiarity with child care management software and digital record-keeping systems.
- Proficient in developing and implementing educational curricula and assessment tools.
