Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Technician to join our team in providing high-quality behavioral support to individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans and supporting clients in achieving their goals in a fully remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans and strategies as outlined by behavior analysts
- Monitor client progress and collect data on behavioral changes and skill acquisition
- Provide direct support to clients through virtual sessions, promoting independence and personal growth
- Engage with clients and their families to foster positive relationships and effective communication
- Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain documentation of client interactions and report findings to the supervising behavior analyst
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in psychology, social work, or a related field preferred
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification
- Experience using data collection and analysis tools
- Familiarity with virtual communication platforms and remote service delivery
