Responsibilities

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including therapists and family members, to ensure consistency and effectiveness of behavioral interventions.
- Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in behavioral techniques.
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families, providing updates on progress and strategies for support.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in behavioral techniques is a plus.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or related behavioral challenges.
- Strong observational skills and the ability to document client progress accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Associate’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and methodologies.
- First aid and CPR certification.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Familiarity with behavioral data collection tools and software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Basic understanding of electronic health record (EHR) systems.
