Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our dynamic team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and analyze data on client progress, adjusting strategies as necessary
- Provide direct support to clients in both one-on-one and group settings
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes client engagement and learning
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members regarding client progress and challenges
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges
- Strong observational and analytical skills
- Ability to implement intervention plans with fidelity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Knowledge of developmental and behavioral disorders
- Experience working in educational or therapeutic settings
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Familiarity with data collection tools and software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
