Role Overview
As an ABA Supervisor at [$COMPANY_NAME], you will provide clinical leadership for applied behavior analysis (ABA) programs across multiple clients and sites in [$COMPANY_LOCATION]. You will design individualized behavior intervention plans, supervise and develop Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and junior clinicians, ensure fidelity to evidence-based protocols, and use objective data to drive clinical decisions. This role requires advanced clinical acumen, operational rigor, and the ability to translate behavior-analytic theory into scalable, person-centered treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Leadership: Oversee assessment, program development, and treatment implementation for an assigned caseload; author and review Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Supervision & Mentorship: Provide direct supervision, performance feedback, and professional development for RBTs and junior clinicians; maintain supervision hours and documentation aligned with BACB requirements.
- Data-Driven Treatment: Design and maintain robust data collection systems; analyze session-level and longitudinal data (e.g., frequency, duration, IOA, mastery criteria) to evaluate progress and iterate interventions.
- Training & Fidelity: Develop and deliver competency-based training on behavior analytic procedures (e.g., discrete trial training, natural environment teaching, task analysis); conduct fidelity audits and corrective coaching.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate treatment goals, progress, and clinical rationale to families, caregivers, schools, and interdisciplinary teams; prepare clear progress reports and recommendations.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all clinical documentation, consent forms, clinical notes, and billing records meet state, payer, and organizational standards; support utilization reviews and audits.
- Operational Contribution: Partner with operations to manage caseload distribution, scheduling logistics, and staffing forecasts; contribute to program quality metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field; or equivalent clinical experience.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing OR active BCBA certification pending state requirements.
- Minimum 3+ years of post-certification experience providing ABA supervision and clinical oversight across multiple clients/ages.
- Demonstrated experience supervising RBTs and other clinical staff, including conducting BACB-compliant supervision.
- Proven ability to conduct FBAs, write data-driven BIPs, and implement evidence-based ABA procedures across home, clinic, and community settings.
- Familiarity with state licensure, Medicaid/insurance billing practices, and HIPAA-compliant clinical documentation.
- Valid professional licensure or authorization to practice in [$COMPANY_LOCATION] if applicable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with applied behavior analysis for autism spectrum disorder across early intervention, school-age, and adolescent populations.

- Proficiency with ABA data platforms (CentralReach, Catalyst, Rethink) or equivalent EHR systems; ability to configure programs, enter session notes, and extract outcome metrics.
- Comfort using telehealth platforms for remote supervision and parent training (HIPAA-compliant Zoom, Doxy.me).
- Familiarity with digital scheduling, billing workflows, and productivity tracking tools.
