Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Supervisor specializing in addictions counseling to join our fully remote team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the clinical staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality addiction treatment services. Your expertise will guide the development of best practices and clinical protocols to enhance patient outcomes and support the professional growth of your team.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor clinical staff, including counselors and therapists, to ensure adherence to evidence-based practices in addiction treatment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance staff development and clinical effectiveness.
- Develop, implement, and maintain clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive treatment plans that address the unique needs of clients.
- Provide direct clinical supervision and support to staff, including case reviews and crisis intervention strategies.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain current knowledge of trends and advancements in addiction counseling and treatment.
- Participate in community outreach and education initiatives to promote awareness of addiction issues and available services.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent.
- 5+ years of clinical experience in addiction counseling, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of addiction treatment modalities and evidence-based practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
Preferred:
- Experience with telehealth and remote clinical supervision.
- Certification as a Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC) or similar credential.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and teletherapy platforms.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in evidence-based addiction treatment approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance in addiction treatment settings.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and reporting.
