Director of Operations, Insurance and Subscription

This fully remote Director of Operations, Insurance and Subscription at Zenni Optical will work directly under our Sr. Director, Operations, Contacts and Insurance and will be responsible for overseeing and cultivating relationships with vision insurance providers. This position will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to optimize these relationships and ensure seamless integration of services. This position requires a combination of strong leadership, negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the vision insurance landscape.The primary responsibilities will be analyzing and navigating the insurance industry and regulatory environment to make recommendations and execute a go to market vision insurance solution. Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of the vision insurance industry, including knowledge of different insurance plans, reimbursement models, and regulatory requirements.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.

• Demonstrated track record of successfully building and maintaining strong relationships with vision insurance companies or similar stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of the vision insurance landscape, including market trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory environment.
• Proven ability to conduct market analysis and develop strategic initiatives to capitalize on opportunities and address challenges.
• Strong negotiation skills with a history of successfully negotiating terms, contracts, and agreements with insurance companies or similar entities.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements related to contractual agreements in the insurance industry.
• Experience establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate partnership effectiveness and drive business objectives.
• Proficiency in analyzing data and generating actionable insights to optimize partnership performance.

As of 01/01/2024, the expected annual compensation range for this position is $140-160,000. Actual pay within this range will be based upon several factors, including without limitation education, work experience, certifications, geographic pay differentials, market conditions, and other business and organizational needs. The Company anticipates that the reasonably expected salary for this position could change in the future and, therefore, the Company retains the right to change, modify, or revisit the salary range for the position for various reasons, including the Company’s business needs.
