This fully remote Vision Insurance and Subscription Manager at Zenni Optical will work directly under our Sr. Director, Operations, Contacts and Insurance and be the right-hand person to spearhead a vision care offering. The primary responsibilities will be analyzing and navigating the insurance industry and regulatory environment to make recommendations and execute a go to market vision insurance solution. Requirements
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor degree in business management or related field
- 3 + years of experience with vision insurance
- 2 + years of experience in optical, e-commerce or similar industry
- Understanding and respect for Diversity and Inclusion
Preferred Qualifications
Expert level proficiency with Excel
Ability to collect and research data to analyze complex or diverse information
Strong understanding of vision insurance, vision insurance adoption, vision insurance integration and management
Strong knowledge of business development, budgeting and strategic planning
Experience using data to model, inform and make decisions
Experience with managing external accounts, vendors and service level agreements
Experience with pricing comparisons and performance metrics as it relates to operations and vision insurance
Experience formulating and executing a vision insurance care offering
Experience developing and guiding a product roadmap through knowledge of the insurance industry including government and commercial environment
Experience scaling vision insurance operational efficiencies including service handling, capacity and structure

As of 01/01/2024, the expected salary range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000 annually. Actual pay within this range will be based upon several factors, including without limitation education, work experience, certifications, geographic pay differentials, market conditions, and other business and organizational needs. The Company anticipates that the reasonably expected salary for this position could change in the future and, therefore, the Company retains the right to change, modify, or revisit the salary range for the position for various reasons, including the Company’s business needs.
