As a Backend AI Engineer you will be part of the team of the AI Team.

- Own the full lifecycle of AI initiatives: from evaluating models and prototyping solutions to deploying and monitoring them in production.
- Work across technical and business teams to identify opportunities where AI can create value.
- Navigate the rapidly evolving AI landscape and make strategic technology decisions.
🟣 The skills you need
Minimum Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python for AI/ML development.
- Strong understanding of AI strategy: when to use RAG vs fine-tuning vs few-shot learning and how to select models.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into production systems (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar).
- Experience with prompt engineering, AI orchestration frameworks, and managing model outputs.
- Understanding of AI-specific challenges: evaluation metrics, monitoring, hallucination mitigation.
- Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly to diverse audiences.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Go (major advantage for our tech stack).
- Experience in the fintech or payment industry.
- Knowledge of data pipelines and Postgres.
- Experience with model fine-tuning or training.
- Knowledge of vector databases and embeddings.
- Fluency in Spanish.
