Wood is recruiting an E&I Supervisor (Offshore) to join our Operations business supporting one of our client partners on a long-term brownfield Oil & Gas EPCM Contract and a growing pipeline of offshore work in maintenance, operations and engineering. This opportunity is a full-time permanent role on an even time 3:3 FIFO roster, working 7 days with 12-hour day (or night shift). Point of hire is Perth, WA.

Reporting to the Offshore Superintendent, your key focus will be to ensuring safe and efficient execution of Electrical & Instrumentation activities in a fast-paced, high-compliance offshore environment. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating the E&I team and its activities, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational standards.
In addition, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate E&I Activities: Plan, schedule, and supervise electrical & instrumentation tasks, ensuring compliance with project specifications, HSE standards, and quality procedures
- Team Leadership: Lead and support a diverse crew of tradespeople, fostering a collaborative and safety-focused work environment.
- Project Delivery: Monitor progress, manage resources, and ensure timely completion of E&I scopes
- Safety & Quality Assurance: Uphold Wood’s rigorous safety standards, conducting risk assessments and ensuring adherence to quality control processes
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with project managers, clients, and offshore teams to align on objectives and resolve technical challenges
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials, and compliance, contributing to project reporting and close-out documentation

Expected:
- Safety Focus: Deep commitment to HSE principles, with experience in risk management and safety compliance
- Qualifications: Relevant trade certification or engineering degree in Electrical & Instrumentation and offshore certifications (e.g., BOSIET, MSIC) is a requirement
- Experience: 5+ years in an E&I coordination or supervision, with proven experience in offshore oil and gas or energy projects.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, including installation, maintenance, and inspection processes
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive performance in high-pressure offshore environments
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders
Qualifications & Tickets:
- Bachelor of Engineering or Electrical Trade Cert (Cert III/Cert IV)
- EEHA – valid within 3 years
- WA Electrical Workers License
- CPR/LVR – valid within 3 years
- Provide First Aid – valid within 3 years
- BOSIET/T-BOSIET or FOET/T-FOET + CA-EBS – valid within 4 years
- MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card)
- Escape Chute – valid within 4 years (desirable)
- Swagelok (Desirable) – valid within 3 years
