Job Description

Your Mission

As an Inside Sales Representative, you play a pivotal role in our client’s sales engine. Your mission is to qualify and convert target accounts while ensuring timely, data-driven, and effective engagement. You will:

  • Conduct lead qualification and stakeholder mapping across the fleet, sustainability, procurement, and IT teams.

  • Leverage tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and CRM systems to enrich account data.

  • Execute and coordinate regional marketing and sales outreach, including webinars, grant-based initiatives, and policy-driven campaigns.

  • Act as a critical bridge between marketing, business development, and strategic sales teams to ensure seamless lead conversion and tier advancement.

Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Inside Sales, Business Development, or B2B lead qualification.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and a strong understanding of pipeline management.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and map stakeholders within target accounts.

  • Experience using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar research platforms.

  • Strong coordination skills, particularly in webinar logistics, follow-ups, and speaker outreach.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with global sales and marketing teams.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Exposure to industries like EV, clean tech, SaaS, or public sector sales.

  • Experience supporting partner-led sales or channel coordination.

  • Familiarity with marketing automation systems or webinar tools.

  • Understanding of fleet operations, procurement cycles, or infrastructure planning.

Key Performance Metrics

  • 10+ qualified discovery calls per month.

  • 10+ Tier 2 accounts enriched with 3–5 stakeholders added monthly.

  • 30%+ conversion rate from discovery calls to sales opportunities.

  • 95%+ CRM accuracy in contact roles, tagging, tiering, and engagement tracking.

  • Execution of at least 1 webinar per quarter in-region.

  • 100% of leads are contacted within 2 business days.

  • 10+ Tier 3 to Tier 2 accounts surfaced monthly.

  • Research Savvy: Effectively utilizing tools to build comprehensive contact maps.

  • CRM & Process Discipline: Ensuring systematic and thorough CRM updates and tracking.

  • Ownership: Leading local execution of sales campaigns, webinars, and follow-ups.

  • Collaboration: Working seamlessly with Marketing, Sales, Intelligence, and Channel teams.

  • Responsiveness: Engaging leads and executing follow-ups promptly.

  • Communication: Maintaining clear, professional outreach to both internal teams and external prospects.

Collaboration Touchpoints:

  • Marketing Automation: Refining campaign targets, managing CRM quality, and executing localized outreach.

  • Market Intelligence: Utilizing policy, grant, and funding updates to prioritize outreach.

  • Business Development & Strategic Sales: Identifying ready-to-advance accounts and ensuring smooth handovers.

  • Channel Team: Co-engaging leads better suited for indirect sales pathways.

What Success Looks Like

  • Account records are well-mapped and engagement-ready.

  • Regional outreach campaigns are executed efficiently and followed up on promptly.

  • The sales team has clear visibility into lead readiness and conversion potential.

  • The Inside Sales Rep is recognized as a key driver of Tier 2 activation and Tier 3 advancement.
