We are growing fast, and we are now looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join the Sales team. This role will work closely with our SMB and enterprise prospects and showcase/ demonstrate the value proposition of the Wati product and help bring new business.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background of sales prospecting that involves reaching out to new leads, qualify them and push them further down the sales funnel and doing product demonstrations.
What you’ll do:
- Acquisition through client demonstrations
- Host and record webinars across verticals that WATI serves
- Inside Sales to qualify prospects and create sales pipeline
- Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Contact potential prospects through cold calls and emails
- Present our company to potential prospects
- Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and Sales Executives
- Report to the Sales leadership on sales results
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Sales Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales prospecting techniques like cold calling, cold emailing and social outreach.
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Experience working with CRM tools such as Hubspot/ Salesforce etc.
- Fair understanding of sales performance metrics
- Experience connecting and selling to senior executives within large organizations.
- Track record of high performance and extremely satisfied customers.
- Experience working with a SaaS/Startup environment preferred.
