What You’ll Be Doing

We are now looking to hire an Account Executive based in Spain to drive new business growth and partner acquisition for Wati across the Iberia region (Spain and Portugal).

In this role, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to prospective clients and partners, demonstrating how Wati can transform customer engagement through WhatsApp and conversational experiences. You’ll own the full sales cycle — from discovery and demos to negotiation and close — collaborating closely with marketing, partnerships, and customer success to accelerate revenue growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement

  • Conduct engaging product demos for inbound and outbound prospects across Iberia.
  • Represent Wati at virtual and in-person industry events, webinars, and partner activities to build awareness and generate leads.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with mid-market and enterprise clients, particularly in eCommerce, digital, and customer engagement sectors.

Sales Execution

  • Own the full sales cycle from qualification to close, managing your pipeline independently.
  • Negotiate contracts, structure deals, and ensure a seamless handover to customer success for onboarding.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.

Market Intelligence

  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to share regional insights, customer feedback, and emerging trends.
  • Help shape Wati’s go-to-market strategy and strengthen our positioning across Iberia markets.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of SaaS sales experience, ideally with mid-market or enterprise clients.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota in a consultative sales environment.
  • Strong presentation and demo skills; ability to tailor messaging to specific business needs.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory. Portuguese proficiency is a strong plus.
  • Experience selling to Iberia markets is essential; familiarity with local business cultures is a bonus.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working remotely while managing your own pipeline.
  • Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and structured sales methodologies.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where experimentation and collaboration drive success.
