Role Overview:
The Website Editor is responsible for updating, editing, and maintaining client websites built primarily on WordPress. The role focuses on content updates, layout adjustments, and ensuring websites remain accurate, visually consistent, and aligned with marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Content Updates
- Edit and update website text, images, and page content
- Upload blog posts, case studies, and landing page content
- Ensure all content is formatted correctly and published accurately
WordPress Editing
- Use WordPress CMS to manage pages, posts, and media
- Work with page builders (e.g. Elementor or similar) to make layout edits
- Adjust spacing, alignment, and structure of existing pages
Page Maintenance
- Maintain consistency across pages (fonts, styles, formatting)
- Update existing pages without altering core design unnecessarily
- Ensure brand guidelines are followed
Basic Quality Assurance
- Check pages before and after publishing
- Identify and correct formatting issues, broken links, or visual inconsistencies
- Ensure responsiveness across devices
Task-Based Delivery
- Work through assigned website edit tasks individually
- Deliver updates accurately and within agreed turnaround times
- Follow briefs and instructions without requiring heavy supervision
Requirements:
- Proven experience using WordPress
- Experience with page builders such as Elementor (or similar)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and implement changes precisely
- Basic understanding of layout, typography, and web formatting
- Ability to manage multiple small tasks efficiently
- Prior experience in website editing or CMS-based roles preferred
