About the role:

The build pipeline is the beating heart of Vercel. Whether they're previewing a new app or pushing straight to production, every customer builds. Millions of builds flow through each day. We are looking for an Engineering Manager to grow the Build Deploy team as it makes the build pipeline faster, steadier, and simpler.

What you will do:

• Hold a high bar for technical work and teamwork.
• Build rapport with each member of the team and support them as they level up their skills.
• Occasionally review and write code to unblock the team.
• Participate in and manage the team's on-call rotation.
• Work closely with the tech lead to set roadmaps.

About you:

• You have at least 3+ years of experience managing technical teams in rapidly growing companies.
• You are excited by building and nurturing engineering teams
• People tell you that you communicate well and you are comfortable with uncertainty.
• You have built and operated distributed systems at scale.
• You are located in the UK or Germany.
