You will be the driving force behind optimizing our Salesforce release processes, version control practices, and environment governance to ensure consistent, high-quality deployments.

As a DevOps expert, you will lead efforts to modernize and maintain our Salesforce delivery lifecycle, define DevOps strategy, automate testing and validation, and ensure best practices across teams. • Collaborate closely with development, QA, release management, and platform engineering teams to ensure smooth and reliable deployments.
• Lead version control strategy using Git-based repositories (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket), including branching models, merge conflict resolution, and metadata tracking.
• Manage environment configuration, sandbox refreshes, data seeding, and automated validation processes.
• Drive adoption of automated testing frameworks (e.g., Apex tests, static code analysis, regression testing) within the pipeline.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize deployment pipelines to ensure high availability, traceability, and performance.
• Establish and enforce DevOps standards, guardrails, and governance across the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Conduct training and mentoring sessions for development teams on Gearset usage, deployment hygiene, and source control best practices.
• Maintain documentation for deployment processes, workflows, tool configurations, and incident management procedures.
• Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure DevOps processes adhere to organizational policies and audit requirements.

About You:
• 6+ years of experience with Salesforce development and administration.
• 4+ years of Salesforce DevOps experience, with significant time spent managing large-scale, multi-org deployments.
• Hands-on expert-level proficiency in Gearset, including environment setup, pipeline configuration, metadata comparisons, rollback strategies, and test automation integration.
• Strong command of Git-based version control systems and DevOps practices such as branching models, code review, and automated validations.
• Experience building or managing Salesforce deployment automation with Salesforce CLI, SFDX, or Metadata API.
• Proven ability to diagnose deployment issues, interpret error logs, and lead root cause analysis.
• Experience managing metadata across complex Salesforce orgs with integrations, managed packages, and custom solutions.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, including Apex, Lightning Components, Flows, and permission models.
• Effective communication and documentation skills with a collaborative mindset to support cross-functional teams.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Salesforce certifications such as:

– Salesforce Platform Developer I & II

  • Salesforce DevOps Specialist or Salesforce Administrator
    • Familiarity with MuleSoft, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or other deployment/integration tools.
    • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest for LWC, Apex testing strategies, or Provar.
    • Background in SaaS, healthcare, finance, or other compliance-heavy environments.
    • Experience with data migration tools (e.g., Data Loader, Dataloader.io, or Gearset’s data deployment module).

Why Join Us?
• Be the go-to authority on Salesforce DevOps, shaping a best-in-class CI/CD pipeline from the ground up.
• Work with passionate, highly skilled teams on innovative, enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions.
