DevOps Architect

We are seeking a DevOps Architect to join our growing team and lead enterprise-level DevOps transformation initiatives. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide strategic consulting, and drive full lifecycle product development.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Architecture roles.
• Proven success designing and implementing DevOps architecture and tooling strategies across large-scale enterprise environments.
• Extensive experience using Git and GitHub for source control, access management, and development workflows.
• Deep expertise designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• GitHub migration experience and a GitHub certification is highly desirable
• Strong skills and experience in cloud infrastructure, including Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), Virtualization and containerization, Monitoring and automation
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to tackle complex issues and think strategically
• Adaptability to learn new tools and methodologies in the ever-evolving tech landscape
• Collaboration and teamwork skills for working smoothly with development, operations, and IT teams
• Attention to detail to ensure system stability and high-quality deliverables by identifying potential issues early
• Independent Work and Ownership: Manage multiple tasks with minimal direction, continually improving processes. Mentor others inside Modus and our clients team
• Project familiarity: GitHub experience especially on projects that tackled migrations
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to align DevOps strategies with business goals and enterprise IT policies
