About Bikky

Restaurants are the heart of our communities - where we go to celebrate life's memorable moments with those we love, and find comfort in the world.

Technology has made it easier to run many kinds of businesses, but restaurants are often left stitching together systems that weren't built for how they actually operate. The result is less clarity, slower decisions, and an industry where margins have steadily tightened over time.

Bikky was founded to give restaurant teams clearer, more usable data so they can make better decisions in a challenging industry. We think good tools should make complicated things feel a little clearer and a little calmer, especially in high-pressure environments like restaurants.

Bikky is based in New York City and has raised over $15 million in funding to date, most recently with a Series A in Q4 2023. Our founding team has worked together for years and has spent their careers building companies in New York City and working closely with restaurant brands. We're proud to support thousands of restaurant locations across the U.S., from nationally recognized brands like Dave's Hot Chicken, MOD Pizza, and Long John Silver's to iconic New York City brands and neighborhood staples like Avo, Dig Inn, Inday, Naya, and Westville.

About the role

As a Senior Product Designer at Bikky, you'll play a central role in shaping the experience of our product. You'll work directly with the Head of Product Design and partner closely with product leadership, engineering, and data teams to define, design, and ship features that help restaurant operators make better decisions with their data.

We care about the details, from the systems-level thinking down to the pixels. If you have opinions about typography, spacing, font weights, and when something is just a few hex codes away from feeling right, you'll feel at home here.

Early on, you'll take ownership of key workflows that help teams move from raw data to confident decisions, shaping both the experience and the underlying patterns that will scale with the product.

You'll be trusted to:

  • Partner with product and engineering to define problems, explore solutions, and ship end-to-end product experiences
  • Lead design work for major initiatives across our analytics platform, dashboards, and AI-driven interfaces
  • Translate complex data concepts into simple, understandable user experiences for non-technical restaurant teams
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that balance usability, clarity, and speed, without losing sight of craft
  • Collaborate directly with the Head of Product Design on design direction, critique, and long-term vision
  • Contribute to and help evolve Bikky's design system to ensure consistency and scalability across the product
  • Work closely with customer-facing teams to incorporate real-world feedback into design decisions

About you

We're looking for a senior-level designer who is comfortable operating with ambiguity, motivated by impact, and strong in judgment and taste. This role is less about checking boxes and more about how you think, collaborate, and navigate complex problems with confidence. You notice when something feels slightly off, even if you can't immediately explain why, and you enjoy figuring out how to make it right.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in product design
  • Experience designing complex, data-heavy, or B2B products
  • Strong end-to-end product design skills, from discovery and systems thinking to polished execution
  • The ability to clearly articulate design decisions and tradeoffs to cross-functional partners

Bonus points if you have:

  • Strong visual and brand sensibilities, including experience contributing to marketing visuals, product marketing assets, or brand systems
  • Experience designing analytics tools, dashboards, or AI-assisted products

That said, we want to talk with exceptional candidates from any background. If you feel you're a great fit for the role, please reach out even if you don't meet every requirement listed above.

Why us

At Bikky, design has real leverage. We care as much about how the product feels to use as we do about what it enables. You'll work on meaningful problems that affect thousands of restaurant brands across the country, helping bring modern, well-designed data tools to an industry that has long been overlooked by traditional software.

Many of us are startup veterans and we feel we're working at an "adult's startup" - all the benefits of being at an early stage company without the chaos. We move quickly, but intentionally. We value autonomy, trust, and high-quality work over process for process's sake. You'll have the opportunity to shape not just the product, but how design functions at Bikky as we scale.

The work you do here will show up in real decisions made by real teams, often in moments that actually matter to their business.

Perks and Benefits

  • $150,000 - $200,000 annual salary. Estimated salary range is inclusive of multiple levels and will be narrowed in the interview process
  • Generous equity compensation
  • Top tier health insurance including medical, vision, and dental
  • Ability to participate in a 401k
  • Bikky offers a hybrid working environment. We have an office where the team works 3 to 4 times per week
  • Flexible vacation policy

The story of Veho began not in a boardroom, but from a direct, frustrating experience with the shortcomings of last-mile delivery. Itamar Zur, while a student at Harvard Business School in 2016, found himself repeatedly missing package deliveries from a meal subscription service. This personal pain point sparked an idea: to revolutionize the delivery experience by placing the customer at the center. What started as an academic pursuit soon blossomed into a tangible venture. Zur even took to the streets himself, driving delivery routes around Boston in the early days, waking before dawn to understand the ground-level challenges and then rushing to class, all while simultaneously building the business case and technology for this new approach. Many early observers, including some investors, were skeptical, advising a pivot to a 'real job'.

Undeterred by initial skepticism and the eventual need to regroup after early team changes, Zur's vision found new momentum when he partnered with Fred Cook, who became Veho's co-founder and Chief Technology Officer. Re-launching out of Colorado, Veho began its ascent. The core mission was clear: to transform shipping from a mere cost center for e-commerce brands into a powerful tool for customer engagement and loyalty. By leveraging purpose-built technology, including an AI-enabled crowdsourced driver marketplace and sophisticated warehouse management systems, Veho set out to offer an Amazon-level delivery experience. This meant not just speed and reliability, with impressive on-time delivery rates consistently exceeding 99%, but also proactive communication and a focus on overall customer satisfaction, reflected in their high customer ratings. The company's innovative model quickly gained traction, attracting significant funding and enabling rapid expansion across the United States, serving millions of Americans in numerous markets and partnering with well-known brands. Veho's journey is a testament to solving real-world problems through hands-on experience and relentless technological innovation, aiming to reshape the landscape of e-commerce logistics.
