The story of Jackson Healthcare began in 2000, born from a simple yet powerful principle held by its founder, Rick Jackson: that talented professionals, united by a shared purpose, can profoundly improve the lives of patients, families, and communities. This foundational belief has been the guiding light for the company's journey over the past two and a half decades. The initial years saw the establishment of the first healthcare staffing and search brands, including LocumTenens.com, Premier Anesthesia, and what is now Jackson Physician Search. This marked the company's first steps into serving the healthcare workforce market, laying the groundwork for what would become a nationwide enterprise.

As the years unfolded, Jackson Healthcare's family of companies grew, expanding its reach and capabilities through a strategic blend of organic growth and acquisitions. The additions of Jackson and Coker Locum Tenens, Jackson Nurse Professionals, and Jackson Therapy Partners broadened its expertise across various high-demand sectors like locum tenens, permanent physician placement, and allied health staffing. The company didn't just stop at staffing; it ventured into technology and hospital management with the launch of Care Logistics. This spirit of innovation continued with the acquisition of companies like Avant Healthcare Professionals, strengthening its offerings in nurse and allied health, and even expanding into pharmaceuticals with the inclusion of USAntibiotics, the sole domestic manufacturer of amoxicillin. Today, with a family of over 20 businesses and having surpassed $2 billion in annual revenue, Jackson Healthcare stands as a testament to its mission, touching over 20 million patients annually across all 50 states and consistently being recognized as a top employer in the nation.
