Contract: Senior CI/CD Engineer

Upwork is seeking a Senior CI/CD Engineer to improve how hundreds of engineers build, test, and ship software. As a member of the Platform Engineering team, you will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and shared build tooling to improve throughput, reliability, and developer experience.

Requirements

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and shared build tooling
• Deliver pipeline migrations by creating automation, templates, guardrails, and documentation
• Diagnose and resolve CI incidents and performance bottlenecks
• Build and evolve Kubernetes-based automation workflows
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate progress
• Uphold security and compliance best practices across the delivery stack
