Rural Innovation and Entrepreneurship Analyst

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a professional Rural Innovation and Entrepreneurship Analyst to join our UniQue Seville team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers in the public sector and you will be responsible for developing new business by identifying profitable opportunities, maintaining your client portfolio by building strong, long-lasting relationships, and monitoring the progress of the projects, with the aim to provide excellent client service and added value services.

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Production of indicators and analyses for the EU´s rural areas with a particular focus on innovation and entrepreneurship indicators (innovation activities, innovation framework conditions, innovation investments, and innovation impacts);
• Territorial analysis of land use, population and accessibility applied to policy options assessment;
• Definition and preparation of policy scenarios applied in Europe;
• Integration of thematic datasets (demographic, socioeconomic and environmental data) into the modelling platform;
• Validation of the model results via computation of territorial indicators;
• Contribution to data dissemination via Rural observatory, Startup Village Forum platform, UDP, etc.;
• Contribution to the reporting and dissemination of result

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• At least 3 years of specific expertise in GEODMS (Geographic Data & Model Software)
• Experience with geo-localised data at regional/subregional/urban statistical levels;
• Ability to apply high quality standards;
• Ability to cope with fast changing technologies;
• Analysis and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to participate in technical meetings and good communication skills
• Good knowledge of English
