The Payroll Officer manages end-to-end payroll processing for a mixed workforce, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely delivery across all pay cycles. The role oversees contractor and practitioner payments, maintains payroll integrity within Humanforce, and ensures adherence to Australian payroll legislation.
Requirements
- Process end-to-end payroll for a mixed workforce, including casual, part-time, and full-time employees.
- Manage contractor and practitioner payments, ensuring correct structure and timely processing.
- Maintain compliance with Australian payroll legislation, including tax, superannuation, and employment regulations.
- Operate and manage payroll processes within Humanforce, ensuring data integrity and system accuracy.
- Generate payroll and financial reports from payroll and practice management systems.
- Support the preparation and generation of RCTIs (Recipient Created Tax Invoices), with training provided where required.
- Maintain accurate payroll records, ensuring all data is up to date and audit-ready.
- Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and accurately.
- Work closely with the finance function to support payroll-related queries and reporting requirements.
- Contribute to improving payroll processes by leveraging system capabilities and reducing reliance on manual or Excel-heavy workflows.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of all payroll and employee data.
