PHP Developer Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimize dynamic web applications using PHP
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements
Write clean, secure, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards
Build and extend custom CMS solutions, APIs, and backend functionality
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality releases
Work with cross-functional teams to translate technical requirements into practical solutions
Contribute to documentation, technical specifications, and internal tools as needed
PHP Developer Qualifications
4+ years of professional PHP development experience required.
Proficiency with modern PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter) required
Strong understanding of database design (MySQL), APIs, and backend development required
Must be local to the St. Louis metro area for hybrid work
