Bilingual IT Help Desk Support Technician – Night Shift (Remote) Description

Our client, a long-standing IT services firm, is seeking a Bilingual IT Help Desk Support Technician to join their remote night-shift support team. In this role, you will provide front-line technical support to end-user clients across hardware, software, Microsoft 365, connectivity, and basic networking issues. This position is ideal for someone with at least 2 years of IT/help desk experience who is comfortable working independently during overnight hours while following documented processes, maintaining clear ticket notes, and escalating issues appropriately. The ideal candidate is a reliable, process-driven troubleshooter who communicates clearly in both English and French and takes pride in delivering responsive, professional support to clients. Bilingual IT Help Desk Support Technician – Night Shift (Remote) Responsibilities

  • Monitor overnight alerts and perform initial triage on client systems and infrastructure
    • Respond to and resolve support tickets, emails, and limited inbound calls overnight
    • Support desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and VPN issues
    • Troubleshoot connectivity, workstation, VPN, and user account issues
    • Use remote support tools to resolve user and system issues
    • Create users, reset passwords, map network drives and complete assigned tasks
    • Escalate urgent issues or hand them off to the right team
    • Document troubleshooting steps, updates, resolutions, and handoffs
    • Follow checklists and escalation procedures
    • Communicate clearly with users, internal teams, and day shift
    • Contribute to internal documentation and knowledge base

Bilingual IT Help Desk Support Technician – Night Shift (Remote) Qualifications

  • Training in Computer Science, IT Support or related field required
    • 2+ years of help desk or IT support experience required
    • Microsoft O365 and Active Directory administration experience required
    • Knowledge of networking concepts (including VPNs and email protocols) required
    • Proficiency with ticketing systems required
    • Bilingual fluency in English and French (written & spoken) required
    • Must be willing/able to work overnight hours, Tuesday-Friday, 12:00 am-8:00 am Eastern Time

Notre client, une firme de services informatiques établie depuis longtemps, est à la recherche d’un€ eveloper (ne) bilingue en soutien informatique pour se evelop à son équipe de soutien de nuit en télétravail. Dans ce eve, vous offrirez un soutien technique de première ligne aux clients utilisateurs pour des evelope liés au matériel, aux logiciels, à Microsoft 365, à la connectivité et au réseautage de base. Ce poste est evel pour une personne ayant au moins 2 ans d’expérience en TI ou en soutien technique, qui est à l’aise de travailler de façon autonome pendant les heures de nuit tout en suivant des processus documentés, en maintenant des notes claires dans les billets et en escaladant les evelope de façon appropriée. La personne idéale est fiable, orientée vers les processus, possède de solides aptitudes en eveloper de evelope, communique clairement en anglais et en français, et est fière d’offrir un soutien réactif et professionnel aux clients. Responsabilités – Technicien(ne) bilingue en soutien informatique – Quart de nuit (télétravail)

  • Surveiller les alertes de nuit et effectuer le triage initial des systèmes et de l’infrastructure des clients
    • Répondre aux billets de soutien, aux courriels et à un volume limité d’appels entrants pendant la nuit, et résoudre les problems
    • Soutenir les ordinateurs de bureau, ordinateurs portables, imprimantes, appareils mobiles et problèmes de VPN
    • Dépanner les problèmes de connectivité, de postes de travail, de VPN et de comptes utilisateurs
    • Utiliser des outils de soutien à distance pour résoudre les problèmes des utilisateurs et des systems
    • Créer des utilisateurs, réinitialiser des mots de passe, mapper des lecteurs réseau et effectuer les tâches assignees
    • Escalader les problèmes urgents ou les transférer à l’équipe appropriée
    • Documenter les étapes de dépannage, les mises à jour, les résolutions et les transferts
    • Suivre les listes de vérification et les procédures d’escalade
    • Communiquer clairement avec les utilisateurs, les équipes internes et l’équipe de jour
    • Contribuer à la documentation interne et à la base de connaissances

Qualifications – Technicien(ne) bilingue en soutien informatique – Quart de nuit (télétravail)

  • Formation en informatique, soutien TI ou domaine connexe requise
    • 2 ans et plus d’expérience en soutien technique ou en soutien TI requis
    • Expérience requise en administration de Microsoft O365 et d’Active Directory
    • Connaissance requise des concepts de réseautage, y compris les VPN et les protocoles de courriel
    • Maîtrise des systèmes de billetterie requise
    • Bilinguisme courant en anglais et en français, à l’oral et à l’écrit, requis
