41/SMART - Senior Mendix Developer

We are seeking a Mendix Developer with strong front-end development expertise to design, develop, and maintain web and mobile applications using the Mendix low-code platform. The ideal candidate will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, ensuring robust integrations, optimal performance, and user-centric design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain front-end components for Mendix-based web and mobile applications.

• Modify and enhance existing interfaces to improve functionality, performance, and usability.

• Participate in all phases of development — from system design to deployment and maintenance.

• Integrate Mendix applications with external systems and REST APIs, ensuring reliable data exchange and interoperability.

• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.

• Ensure applications comply with security standards and follow best development practices.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and specifications.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Mendix development and front-end technologies (3+ years experience minimum)

• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum environments.

• Understanding of UI/UX principles, RESTful API integration, and microservices architecture.

• Good communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Requirements

Experience and Technical Skills:

• Solid understanding of modern UI technologies and their use in low-code environments.

• Experience in testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing front-end applications.

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices is desirable.

• Mendix Intermediate or Advanced Developer Certification is a plus.
