Role Description:

We're on the lookout for a Finance Analyst to handle vital responsibilities in accounting, financial control, and financial planning and analysis (FP&A). Our ideal candidate will showcase a strong grasp of US GAAP, proficiency with NetSuite, and previous experience in startup or scale-up environments.

What you'll be doing:

• Manage accounting operations, including month-end close processes, ensuring compliance with NetSuite functionalities.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and analyses to guide strategic planning and business performance.
• Act as a financial controller, overseeing internal controls, compliance, and financial risk management.
• Maintain and refine financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and decision support.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment of financial operations with company objectives.
• Support the financial consolidation and reporting for various legal entities within the group.
• Assist with tax returns and filings, coordinating with external advisors to ensure compliance.
• Help develop and monitor budgets and forecasts with the VP of Finance.
• Optimize financial processes to identify potential cost savings and support strategic decisions.
• Facilitate annual audits by working with external auditors, addressing inquiries efficiently.
• Handle diverse administrative tasks, showcasing flexibility and a commitment to the team.

Requirements

What you’ll need:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance positions within a global tech startup.
• Advanced understanding of US GAAP and revenue recognition; adept in financial reporting and tax compliance.
• Proficiency in NetSuite and Excel/Google Sheets is mandatory.
• Robust analytical abilities coupled with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s in Finance or Business Administration is advantageous.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of thriving both independently and in team settings.
