Tasks

About the role

We are currently looking for Accountant to join our high performing team to maintain high productivity.

What you'll be doing:

  • Ensuring that all accounting records and information on file are kept up-to-date
  • Performing daily itemisation of accounting transactions on Xero system
  • Daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations of accounting ledgers
  • Run and manage monthly payroll and payroll reconciliations (include PAYE and Pension)
  • Work with accountants in other countries to produce consolidated management account
  • Quarterly VAT returns, final account and corporate tax preparation and submissions
  • Liaising with external consultant for R&D claim
  • Assistance with budgeting and tracking
  • Assistance with fund raising
  • Ad hoc projects

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (CPA/ACCA or equivalent)
  • Prefer 5-10 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Highly proficient in Xero system
  • Solid understanding of UK accounting standards and tax regulations
  • Extensive knowledge of reporting and Excel
  • Good understanding of Power BI and Spotlight
  • Able to demonstrate practical experience in the production of monthly management accounts and VAT returns
  • Ability to work with large data and processes with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to troubleshoot and respond to problems and non-routine event
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization and planning skill
  • A strong commitment to ethical behavior
  • Previous relevant work experience at SaaS companies
  • Preferred international experience

Salary Range: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

Location: London, UK (Hybrid)
