About the Role

Were seeking a Software Engineer to join a newly formed product pod responsible for developing a next-generation decentralized application. This app enables users to interact directly with vault assets depositing, withdrawing, and analyzing performance through an intuitive interface.

This is a backend-leaning (80%) but product-focused role, ideal for engineers who want to own full-stack features and build high-impact user experiences. Youll design and deliver critical components that connect the data layer with customer-facing functionality such as analytics dashboards, vault workflows, and on-chain interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of full-stack features for the companys decentralized application.

• Collaborate closely with front-end engineers to deliver seamless and integrated user experiences.

• Own and evolve backend services and data architectures powering live, user-facing products.

• Participate in systems design and architecture discussions to ensure scalability and reliability.

• Engage in code reviews and design sessions, setting best practices for quality and maintainability.

• Translate product and research requirements into robust, effective technical implementations.

• Diagnose and resolve complex software issues to maintain platform performance and reliability.

• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to peers within the engineering team.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on backend or full-stack development.

• Strong proficiency in Python (preferred) or TypeScript experience with other modern languages also considered.

• Proven ability to design, build, and own production-ready web applications end-to-end.

• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend systems for live customer-facing products.

• Experience building and shipping user-facing applications in SaaS or product-oriented environments (dashboards, analytics, transactional systems, etc.).

Bonus Skills

• Knowledge of DeFi, dApp architecture, or on-chain interaction patterns.

• Background in fintech, financial data systems, or transaction-based products.

• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, TypeScript).

• Exposure to Solidity or Rust (not required but valued).

• Experience scaling applications in startup or small team environments.

• Understanding of data pipelines, ETL, and data integration in production systems.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $165K-$205K USD

• Additional: Performance-based annual bonus + equity (options)
