Platform Engineer

About the Role

Were seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer with deep experience in building systems from the ground up. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex distributed-systems challenges, shaping core infrastructure, and working across both backend engineering and DevOps.

You'll help design and implement scalable platform components, contribute to high-performance backend systems, and support infrastructure that enables rapid iteration and secure, reliable deployments. A strong background in Go (Golang) is essential, along with familiarity in modern cloud-native tooling.

An understanding of EVM-based systems or blockchain fundamentals is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain core platform components and backend services

• Develop scalable systems from scratch with a strong focus on performance and reliability
• Contribute to architecture decisions across distributed systems, APIs, and internal services
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design platform primitives and developer tooling
• Support infrastructure needs across CI/CD, observability, networking, and environment management

• Ensure systems are secure, maintainable, and resilient under high throughput

• Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvement

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience developing backend systems in Go

• Proven track record of building systems from scratch (not just maintaining existing services)

• Solid understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and performance tuning

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), containerization, and CI/CD pipelines
• Comfortable working across infrastructure, systems design, and backend engineering
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote-first environment

Nice-to-Have

• Familiarity with EVM-based architectures, blockchain systems, or smart contract ecosystems
• Knowledge of modern networking, observability tooling, or high-performance systems
