Unity Game Developer - ARC9 Studio

About the Role

Arc9Studio is looking for a Unity Mobile Game Developer to help build and scale our portfolio of engaging mobile games.
From the cozy aesthetics of puzzle games to the fast-paced mechanics of hyper-casual titles, you will play a key role in turning game ideas into polished mobile experiences enjoyed by players worldwide.
Youll work closely with designers, artists, and growth teams to develop games that are fun, performant, and optimized for discovery on the App Store and Play Store.

What Youll Do
Develop & Ship

• Build and maintain mobile games using Unity (C#) for iOS and Android
• Take ownership of the full development lifecycle from prototype to launch

Gameplay Mechanics

• Prototype and refine core gameplay loops (merge, sorting, slingshot, runner mechanics, etc.)
• Implement responsive and satisfying player interactions

Performance Optimization

• Ensure smooth 60 FPS gameplay across mid- to low-end devices
• Optimize memory usage, load times, and rendering performance

Collaboration

• Work closely with artists, designers, and ASO/SEO specialists
• Support rapid prototyping and iteration based on player feedback and analytics

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C# and Unity engine
• At least one shipped mobile game on the App Store or Google Play
• Experience optimizing mobile games for performance
• Ability to interpret gameplay data from tools like Firebase or GameAnalytics
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Bonus Skills

• Experience with hyper-casual or puzzle games
• Familiarity with PlayCanvas or web-based game engines
• Understanding of mobile game monetization and retention mechanics
• Passion for mobile gaming trends and viral mechanics
