About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Excel Expert with advanced VBA and macro programming capabilities to support data automation, reporting, and workflow optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in dynamic environments, has a strong eye for detail, and can turn complex data challenges into efficient, scalable Excel-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain complex Excel tools and templates using advanced formulas, VBA, and macros.
• Automate repetitive tasks, reporting workflows, and data manipulation processes.
• Create user-friendly dashboards and reports to support internal teams or client deliverables.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing spreadsheets to improve performance and reliability.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, iterate on solutions, and provide training if needed.
• Ensure data integrity, version control, and documentation of all Excel tools and scripts.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Proven experience in VBA scripting and Excel macro development (2+ years minimum).
• Expertise in advanced Excel functions (e.g., INDEX/MATCH, array formulas, pivot tables).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate user needs into functional tools.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience integrating Excel with other data sources (e.g., SQL, APIs) is a plus.
• Background in finance, operations, analytics, or a technical field is preferred.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with other Microsoft Office automation (e.g., Outlook, Word via VBA).
• Good understanding of finance financial accounting
• Knowledge of Power Query, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
• Ability to train non-technical users on Excel tools created.

Salary: $900-$1100
