Senior Fullstack Engineer (Node.js, React)

Symbiotic is hiring a Senior Fullstack Engineer (Node.js, React) to join their team. The role involves designing and building new services from scratch, owning the entire backend of Symbiotic, and collaborating closely with the team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of production experience as a backend or fullstack engineer
• Expert in JavaScript and Node.js internals
• Proven track record independently designing and shipping complete backend services end-to-end
• Strong production experience with modern Node.js frameworks
• Advanced PostgreSQL skills
• Strong React + TypeScript frontend background
• Docker-native, comfortable with CI/CD (GitHub Actions), basic Kubernetes knowledge
• Excellent at algorithms and data structures
• Startup mindset
• Deeply care about business impact and always understand the “why” behind what you build
