Three days paid Sorry Business and Sad News leave for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander employees to attend cultural practices.

Paid parental leave (primary carer)

Choice of 16 weeks’ parental leave at full pay or 32 weeks’ leave at half pay for primary carers. Can be taken flexibly up to the child's 2nd birthday.

Medical insurance

Westpac's health insurance plan is administered by Southern Cross with a variety of options. Eligible for cover for pre-existing conditions if joined within three months of starting.

Superannuation (In-Tandem scheme)

Employee contributions can begin at 4% of salary. After two years of continuous service, Westpac provides an employer contribution of 6%. For management staff, Westpac contributes 10%. Westpac meets all management and administration charges.

Domestic & family violence support

Take as much leave as required, with additional advice, counselling, financial support, and flexible work arrangements available. Also 10 days paid leave if supporting an immediate family or household member experiencing domestic and family violence.
