About SuperPlane
SuperPlane is an AI-native DevOps control plane. Our mission is to build the platform teams use to ship and manage software in the AI era.
Agents are helping us write an order of magnitude more code, while systems have become too complex for human-driven ops alone. We're rethinking DevOps from first principles for the AI era: a single control layer where engineers and agents safely collaborate.
We move fast. We aim high. If that sounds like the kind of problem you want to work on, we’d love to talk.
About the Program
We’re launching a 6 weeks internship program to give early-career developers real experience building infrastructure software.
This is an opportunity to contribute to an early-stage open source project, work closely with an AI-first team, and level up your career by shipping real integrations used by developers.
If you’re passionate about AI, automation, and developer infrastructure, this is your chance to get hands-on experience and make meaningful contributions.
What you’ll do
Build end-to-end integrations for SuperPlane
Work on real open source infrastructure tooling
Collaborate directly with the core team
Ship production-ready contributions
Support & mentorship
We expect contributors to be self-sufficient and proactive, but you won’t be alone:
Weekly office hours with the team
Constant async support on Discord
Direct exposure to how an AI-first infra startup operates
Learning from engineers with vast industry experience
Paid Cursor license
Monetary compensation though well defined projects
Who should apply
Students and early-career developers
People excited about AI + automation
Builders who enjoy shipping and learning by doing
Contributors comfortable working independently
Can dedicate more 15+ hours per week to project
After applying, you’ll complete a short practical task so we can understand your skills and match you with the right work.
This program gives you a chance to build experience, grow your network, and contribute to something ambitious from day one and become a full-time/part-time member of SuperPlane team.
