About Studyville
Studyville® was created to Take The Homework Fight Out Of The Home®. Founded in 2020 by Amanda Martin in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the company began as a single tutoring center and has grown into a multi-state operation serving over 10,000 students. As a mom of teen boys, Amanda Martin felt the pains and frustrations of the homework problem firsthand and set out to create a better solution - one that gives flexibility back to families while taking the homework fight out of the home completely.
Studyville is a membership-based academic workspace and tutoring center designed for middle and high school students (6th-12th grade). The company provides after-school tutoring, academic workspaces, microschooling, high-dosage tutoring, literacy intervention, test prep for the ACT® and SAT®, and college counseling. Students can come to Studyville for the best tutors and study space to complete homework, projects, ACT/SAT test prep, and get expert tutoring on demand.
Under Amanda's leadership, Studyville was named one of America's Top 70 Small Businesses by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in 2023. The company has developed proprietary tools like StudyTrack™ for progress monitoring and has expanded through various district partnerships and private programs. Studyville is committed to evidence-based instruction - particularly the Science of Reading - and focuses on delivering measurable gains for students at all levels. To date, students who work with Studyville tutors have shown nearly 200% improvement in reading skills.
