Department of Revenue is recruiting for a GenTax Business Analyst (Operations & Policy Analyst 3) position. We are looking for talented, detail-oriented individuals to join our Information Technology Services Division in the GenTax Special Projects & New Development Unit. This position is headquartered in our Salem office; however, the successful candidate may be eligible for in state hybrid work. Hybrid work consists of performing duties onsite in a standard office environment and working remotely.

What You Will Be Doing

Analysis, Coordination/Planning, Documentation/Communication, Definition, Program Support, and Production Support
Provide business knowledge policy and process expertise to ensure DOR requirements for implementation of change, enhancement, and corrections.
Analyze the impact of change, correction, and enhancement regarding service requests, projects, service packs, and version upgrades.
Coordinate definition, configuration, development, testing, training, and release management activities for GenTax subsystems.
Identify, communicate, and monitor interdependencies throughout each solution request.
Act as the primary communications contact between program coordinators; developers; managers; end users; and external partners.

This Is What You Need To Qualify
A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and four years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.OR;
Any combination of experience and education equivalent to seven years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification.
The ideal candidate will possess the following desired skills and attributes:
Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
Experience writing IT project documentation, such as business requirements, system design, system testing and acceptance scenarios, and user training.
Experience coordinating and leading IT requirements and design meetings, with variety of internal and external partners.
Strong program analytical skills to document and develop processes and procedures in program areas to resolve issues or improve efficiencies.
Must be flexible and have the ability to work on various tasks at any given time.
Exceptional customer service skills with the desire to constantly improve the customer experience while building bridges among team members, stakeholders, customers and staff.
Must be able to perform well within a team, but also work independently when tasks require it.

This is an SEIU-represented position. This recruitment may be used to fill additional vacancies as they occur.
The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect the additional 6.95%.
