Department of Revenue is recruiting for a Revenue Manager 1 – Estate Program and Audit Manager position. We are looking for talented, detail-oriented individuals to join our Business Division in the Corporate and Estate Unit. This position is headquartered in our Salem office; however, the successful candidate may be eligible for in state hybrid work. Hybrid work consists of performing duties onsite in a standard office environment and working remotely.
In order to be considered for Department of Revenue recruitments, you must reside within the state of Oregon.

What You Will Be Doing
Below is a sampling of job duties. It is not meant to encompass all duties.
Provide planning and direction for the Estate Tax program as the program manager.
Responsible for development of section audit goals, policies, and procedures.
Directly supervise mid-level professional staff performing audit, filing enforcement, and other compliance related functions as well as training and data reporting activities related to the Corp/Estate Section programs.
Participate as a member of the Business Division leadership and section management teams by participating in discussions deciding tax policy, budget issues, goals and objectives, staffing levels, and space and equipment needs.
Provide program management of the Lane County and Trimet Self-Employment Transit taxes.
Provide coaching, training, or other resources to develop staff and achieve expectations, continued skill development, development of new knowledge, good work habits, and high ethical standards.

Five years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience; OR two years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect the additional 6.95%.
