Job Title: Technical Operations Engineer

Employment Type: 37.5hrs a week – Days – 4 & 5 day working week available OR DuPont Shift Schedule, both to cover 24/7/365 service.

Location: Remote – with travel to client sites when required

Salary: £32K-£45K DOE and shift allocation

Start Date: Q2/3 2024

We are looking for a Technical Operations Engineers to join our growing managed service technical operations team to support with day-to-day tasks in all aspects of our Infrastructure, Network, and Security management responsibilities, and will be an integral part to a 24/7 operational team working under a DuPont shift pattern or a 37.5hr a week day-shift pattern, ensuring uninterrupted support and coverage to our clients.

Requirements

The role involves overseeing various processes, maintaining relationships with high profile clients and stakeholders, and adhering to best practices to ensure the reliability and security of the Customer’s technical operations. The role will provide an opportunity to build on your strong technical background and obtain practical experience of innovative IT solutions and services.

Ideal Candidates will have a strong understanding of IT Infrastructure, Networking, and Security principles and best practices, routing and switching and WAN/LAN technologies. Proficient knowledge of firewall solutions, both physical and virtual is crucial along with a strong knowledge of Fortinet SDWAN, Firewall Switch technologies, Cisco ISE and Cisco Meraki Wi-Fi. Candidates must also have experience with operating and maintaining IT Security controls related to SIEM, DLP, Vulnerability Management, Cyber Threat Intelligence, and Endpoint Protection.
